I am a big fan of Corazon. Yes the plant is not the greatest but it has tons of vigor and with attentive and strategic pruning it does fine. I nestled mine between two other lush plants and it looks great. The blooms!!! They are big, super dynamic and ever changing. A total delight to see each new design every time. Corazon is a great bloomer and the blooms photograph extremely well. I have mine right on the sidewalk and it gets constant compliments all the time. So glad it is for sale again! Buy it, grow it and enjoy!

I have had my Cosmic Gold plant now for 7 years. It is a non stop bloomer all year round. Few cultivars I have bloom more often and with as many blooms as it does. It gets really pretty deep orange in cooler weather which is also very pretty. The ruffling of the blooms are fantastic. Easy to grow and it does it's best when pruned down a lot every couple of years to encourage the branches to keep all their leaves from top to bottom. 

I think it is also important to note the parents are: Simple Pleasures x Blonde Ambition so as to not confuse this one with any other cultivars out there.

There are hibiscus and then there is Acapulco Gold. Stunning large blooms that are super bright and can be seen a block away on a terrific bush that branches like crazy and is super easy to grow once it gets going. But the thing that sets it apart is it's ability to bloom like no other. It is my all time record holder for blooms in one day. AG actually had over 100 blooms open on one day back on 9/20/2015. I didn't even think this was possible - it was insane, I took dozens of photos and to this day that record still stands. The bush at the time was huge, so much so that you couldn't show all the blooms at once. So three different sides had to be photographed separately to document this amazing show.

Oh yeah, if you don't have it you have to have it in your collection.

Another one of my top 10 all time favorite cultivars. The colors on the blooms are so happy and yummy looking I want to eat them! So Confection Perfection has a compact growth habit which is amazing. It likes to grow vertically with very strong branches that are lush with beautiful, waxy super green leaves. This plant is probably the best one out of hundreds I have as far as how it responds to pruning. I'll let it get 6-7 ft tall and then prune it way down to 2 ft. It then comes back the next growing season with tons of strong new branches that fill up with buds.

It blooms all the time and you can see the blooms way down the street. They totally pop against the dark green foliage. You have to baby this one when it is a young plant but once it gets going watch out. It loves to be pruned so you can really sculpt it into any shape or space you might find that is constrained.

Just look at those colors, how can you not be instantly uplifted by those magical colors? And the blooms are really big too - if I were to imagine the atypical hibiscus people dream about this is it. Some smart country should put it on their flag. I'll start a new one, the Hibiscus Republic!
