Title: Belle du Jour
Post by: roadrunner on November 12, 2009, 05:52:19 PM
Belle du Jour I hope.  This is the first bloom for this one and it's nearly 2 years old. The pink is very faint and the bloom is 8 inches across.  Still quite beautiful I think.  The bloom's crinkled texture became more evident as the day progressed.

Yep that's definitely Belle du Jour.  Very pretty.  I like the softer pink look for Belle.

That growth habit looks right, and the crinkled surface is pretty unique so that coupled with the 8" size pretty much eliminates any cv I know of other than Belle du Jour. Yours must be staying warm because the outdoor cooler weather has ours opening a dark pink for the first day.
