Going on the 4th year for my Thunder Egg and it's going to be a good one, just as long as the deer don't eat it. This will be the 1st year it bloomed before Aug/Sept. with direct sun and heat. This flower opened in the morning. At night it closed up 75% almost all the way. The next morning it completely opened up again. I've never seen a bloom close up so much then reopen the next day and stay open for days.
