Title: Appassionata
Post by: farmer d on August 18, 2014, 09:33:37 PM
I have been dreaming of the day I could start a topic for this CV.  I got the plant as a tiny 4" rooted cutting back in late April.  It has done well in a pretty shady spot and as is the norm for Charlie's creations it can put out large blooms that are almost half the size of the plant.  This is the 3rd bloom it has had and the first to hit the mark.

And boy did it - the camera does not quite capture the differing bands of colors as well as you can see them in person.  Absolutely stunning!

Darren, this one also fades to a really nice pattern on days 2 & 3.

Good point Erny!  I could already see that just towards the end of the first day.  Unfortunately that was the end of this bloom...but what a day it was!
