Title: Navigating through messages
Post by: Geneva on July 31, 2012, 02:20:10 PM
Is there a way to view the newest messages on a topic instead of defaulting to the oldest messages? There are 18 pages in the current "daily pictures" thread and unless I am missing something simple it is difficult to scroll through to the end to keep updated. Thanks!

Hi Geneva,  when you first visit you should see 14483 Posts in 979 Topics by 950 Members. Latest Member: CindyTex

View the most recent posts on the forum.    If you click on   View the most recent posts on the forum.  You will automatically go to the latest posts, if you then shall we say want to look at Re: July Flower Photos of the Day you click on that and it will take you to the latest post [which happens to be yours] and you then work backwards.

I think what you are doing is clicking on July Photos of the Day from the big menu above, once you find the View the most recent posts on the forum near the bottom you will be ok.

Hi Geneva, I think what you want to do is click the "PROFILE" button that is toward the top of each page. Then look on the left side of the Profile page and click on "Look and Layout Preferences" and then on that page check the box that says "Show most recent posts at the top." That will give you the most recent posts in every topic first.

Thank you both for your helpful suggestions, I appreciate it. I was able to adjust my settings, like it much better with most recent posts coming up first...again, much thanks!  ;)
