Title: Alii Uii Post by: kris on June 18, 2009, 06:34:31 PM Looks like a pretty nice mini, anyone have experience with it? Also since it is from Hawaii, was it hybridized independently from other varieties? The only two native Hawaiian species I know of are H. kokio and H. arnottianus and to me Alii Uii looks like alot like H. kokio.
Title: Re: Alii Uii Post by: nina on June 19, 2009, 06:45:44 AM A big NO from me! Bad grower, does not open well in the warm weather, does not bloom well. I threw away my plant after a few year battle to give it suitable conditions to behave itself. But, the experience may differ.
