Title: Pretty in Pink
Post by: Halibut on May 27, 2011, 02:46:49 PM
Hi Charlie,
I have a problem with bud drop and what appears to be slower than normal growth on this plant. When it first arrived it dropped all of it's buds within a day or two. We then transplanted it into a 10" pot and there were no more buds until one appeared and when it was very large it just dropped off.

The plant looks healthy and the foliage is growing albeit a little slow. The leaves are dark green and the bud color was normal.

I fixed the PH problem and have been feeding it your acid blend fertilizer to a ph of 6.5 (Approx. 1 teaspoon per 2 gallons of water) and I add a tablespoon of Super Nova per 2 gallons of treated water.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, or could it be a sun/shade or temperature issue? What does this CV like as far as conditions go?
Thanks!
