Could be First Love, Rebel Rouser, Saffron, The Right Stuff, surely not Cherry Appaloosa but the white eye........

These are the first blooms on a fairly young plant. My first impression was that it's mislabeled because the main color is off, but the eye colors look right.

It doesn't look anything like it except for the eye. I wonder if it's quite variable under certain conditions like Chariots of Fire. Title: Re: Yet one more mystery bloom Post by: Charlie on March 07, 2011, 07:37:09 AM Coincidentally, while at the greenhouse yesterday I saw a Raging Bull flower and recognized it as a good candidate for this mystery bloom. I had never seen it with any color other than intense bright red before but there it was looking quite similar to Dave's mystery flower. I don't think we will see it like this very often but once more of them are blooming indoors around the world maybe we will. The summer color is bright red with yellow spotting and a bright white eye - definitely the look it was selected for.
