Title: Hibiscus stereograms (3-D)
Post by: Pachrian on May 03, 2010, 08:41:47 PM
My Voodoo Magic had a blossom today which I thought was too gorgeous for just a regular pic. It needs to be seen in 3-D  ;D

In order to view the stereogram cross your eyes until a third image forms in the middle. Once it is in focus you can relax (not uncross!) your eyes. Hope this works for you, it's quite easy with a little practise.

Nice job, Uli! Cindy and I both looked at these until we got the third photo forming between the other 2. The 3D effect is most prominent for me with the petal edges that turn up called tufting in hibiscus parlance.

Thanks for posting.

I'm so glad it worked for you. Some people, like my husband, just can't do it.

Played with 2 pics I took of Fallen Hero a few days ago, before it got hot. The color is so vivid, I love it.

The longer I look at the Voodoo Magic this way, the more I see. This type of looking or seeing is easy now, but it wasn't at first. Cindy has a whole book of this type of image and with a little coaching from her I learned how to see the 3D image.
