Title: Moody Blue
Post by: helixturnhelix on January 20, 2010, 07:50:17 PM
Hi Charlie,

So does this variety bloom in two different colors, brown and blue?  Or is it weather induced just like other hibiscus varieties?  It is interesting that it blooms in both purples and browns, and its a cinnamon girl offspring which is one of my favorite varieties :)

It does, Chris. I'm the one who took the pics of this one, and I was amazed at the two different colors. It's really shades of gray in a way. At one end of its spectrum, it's purple, and at the other end it's a gray-brown. I really liked both colors and got excited about it. I always like the flowers that change colors the most, as you can probably tell.
