Title: Torch Song Post by: Cindy on October 17, 2009, 02:53:08 AM I'm adding Torch Song to my list of good houseplants! I have a big and a little one, and I knew the big one bloomed well, but now the little one in a 4" pot is blooming. This was its first flower, and a second bud is about to open.
(http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/images/torchsong4inchmed.jpg) Rockets Red Glare is Torch Song's podmate, so I'm going to try it next. Have any of you tried it in the house? Cindy Title: Re: Torch Song Post by: helixturnhelix on October 17, 2009, 09:20:30 AM Hi Cindy,
I have a RRG, and it is great, lost of buds on a small plant. I am going to prune mine because two branches is not enough! Overall it is really great. Title: Torch Song Post by: Cindy on October 25, 2009, 03:04:10 PM I'd better get one too then, Chris! We have a pretty small house, so anything that can bloom staying small is a big plus for me.

Title: Re: Torch Song Post by: Nievesgirl on November 10, 2009, 03:12:45 PM I agree with Chris Cindy I have my RRG in a 6" pot and it is doing well. I am thinking about putting this cv in my Lechuza pot because of how well its been doing in a small pot.
I will let you know what happens if I do :) Blue ballerina is doing so good with these self watering pots. Title: Re: Torch Song Post by: Cindy on November 10, 2009, 08:43:58 PM Ok, I have to get Rocket's Red Glare and a Lechuza pot both!
I finally have to break down and pot up 2 of my plants that have been in 4" pots for 3 years now - Erin Rachel and Blue President. They're just sitting there, green, but not growing or flowering. I think 2 years in those baby pots is fine, but the 3rd year is too much. Cindy |
