Title: How long to bloom ?
Post by: topshelf12 on January 08, 2016, 07:15:41 PM
  Hi Charlie,
Great job on the selection in the HVH store and the great new varieties!  Charlie what is the range (number of years) it takes for a seedling to bloom?
thanks
Norm

Hi Norm,

From my visits to the greenhouse and talking to Charlie and my own experience growing hundreds of seedlings I would say any where from 6 months to around 2 years.  I have seen some take 4-5 years but at that point that tells you that it is a plant that is not a good bloomer obviously.  I hope this helps!

Darren, I have many seeds growing right now as well. My question is because size and resources are not infinite for me, what do you think the smallest size I can keep them pruned but still be able to see the first bloom? Thank you
