It just bloomed it's first three flowers and they were all 7- 8" which is great for a plant that is not even a foot tall. Really pretty blooms.
Anyone know about the bush that would be great since I have it planted in ground. Seems easy to grow so far... I went into the old photos to see if I could find a pic and came up with a couple that show its potential. The digital cameras were not so great back in 1999 but you can get the idea of how good the bush can be. These are from when I lived in Topanga Canyon (northwest part of Los Angeles 3 miles from the ocean) and grew a lot of hibiscus on the property.
