Title: Burnt Saffron false pods?
Post by: Merkity on May 27, 2014, 04:50:52 PM
Can anyone tell me if Burnt Saffron likes to put out empty seed pods a lot?

My BS does that quite frequently. I guess that's  what to expect from BS seed pods.  Lol

I think I recall Charlie saying that he has never seen a natural pollinator and that the pods will always be empty unless you do a hand pollination.

I am pollinating them, but i think the last two i had were empty or a flower - can't remember which.  Just curious because i have a pod going now on my plant and i hoping to get seeds this time - guess i have to wait and see.  it may be a long wait too - burnt is a slow everything grower for me.
