Title: Cream colored markings on leaves Post by: roadrunner on March 18, 2014, 05:34:52 AM Here is a problem that I have on just one cultivar, Stormy Heart. These cream colored markings started appearing shortly after I received this plant at least a year and a half ago. It doesn't cause the leaves to further deteriorate or drop and doesn't appear to affect the vigor of the plant. These leaves with the spots are from last summer's growth. Is anyone else seeing anything like this?

I have no real idea what it could be - theories include sun or wind damage, virus infection, fungus or bacterial infection, fertilizer burn, or just plain cantankerousness. I've had fertilizer burn on other plants and it isn't that and some of those spots are nearly a year old. Maybe it's a one and only variegated leaf hib? ::)
