Title: Petite Princesse
Post by: farmer d on February 14, 2014, 06:03:30 PM
Wow - today is another one of those fabulous days when you get a first time bloom and it blows you away.  I got Petite Princesse last spring as a small 4" rooted cutting.  It has grown steadily all year but the last few months it is really taking off.  I changed the sprinkler spray to give it much more water and has made a difference.

What a gorgeous bloom!  A pink lover's delight!  A lot going on here with beautiful patterning throughout and eye zone to boot.  I just love all the bright varying pink hues along with that orange edging.

This was not one I was all that excited about getting and I barely pulled the trigger but am I glad I did.  It is planted right on the front by the sidewalk so it should get a lot of attention in that primo spot.

Thanks Charlie for another awesome creation!

2nd bloom on Petite Princesse.  Took the pic earlier in the day so better definition in the shot of the bloom.

I just love this one!
