Title: Red Bark? Post by: Paul on August 16, 2012, 06:36:01 AM One more question today. There is one spot on my Rain Drop plant that has turned red where the bark is forming on the main branch. Is this anything that I need to worry about?

If the stems turn dark - black, purple, or brown - that is bad. Hibiscus exude different wax-like substances for reasons unknown but I've never seen this followed by a problem. Let us know how yours does.
