I have had this cv right at a year with no blooms.  I have noticed the leaves are particularly hard but at the sametime the plant seems healthy and no leaves falling off.  I have noticed small webs where the main branch and the secondary ones split.  I have used Bayer 3 in 1 on it a few times.  It says use once a month but should I be using it more?  I will attach pictures below...Are these spider mites?

Do you mean the tiny white specks that can be seen against the dark green of the leaves? Definitely not spider mites but these should be identified to make sure they are harmless. First, do they wash off if you spray water on the leaves? If not, can you wipe them off with a cotton q-tip or your fingers?

White specks can be white flies, but shaking the plant would send them flying into the air. If that happens you should definitely use the Bayers more often until they disappear.

White specks can also be snow scale, which you would only have if you also have hibiscus sent from Florida or if you live in Florida. Snow scale is found more often on woody stems than leaves but they can occasionally be seen on leaves. They could also be the beginnings of a mealy bug invasion. You don't want either of these bad bugs. First, see if you can spray or wipe the spots off the leaves. If not, we should investigate further.

As for flowers, we are just moving into blooming season this year so the Wizard should start blooming. To help move this along be sure to water and feed regularly and give it some HVH Booster if you have any.

Welp, it's been 4 years and it's looking like some blooms are going to appear. This wizard took some patience!

4 years with out a bloom? I wouldve thrown it out in year 2. Great patience.
