One of the prettiest CV around.  Its too bad its so hard to find :( Anyone else enjoy this beautiful variety?

I agree its simple but very pretty ! ,  I think this is why I am interested in living legend. I like the shape of the flowers on both.

I managed to track one down :)  I read that you lost yours in a move Charlie.  When I get mine I would be more than happy to send you wood from it!  Let me know if you would like me to do that, it should be ready to ship to me in September, so I can prune a branch of it depending on how big it is.

I particularly liked how well Burnished Gold bloomed. Lots of flowers on many days. I also crossed it a lot but see that I only kept one seedling from it, and that one - Burnished Plum - is probably not going to stand the tests of time. That's not to say that the next offspring of it won't be the best ever. I would like to grow it again, and gratefully accept the offer of wood whenever its convenient after you get it.

Of course charlie :)  Depending on the size of the plant I will either take them very soon after I get the plant, or will wait till spring when there is good shipping weather.  Side note: Doe BG root or is it a graft only variety.

That works just fine. I think it is a graft only variety but cannot remember specifically trying to root it. I would graft any wood you send me and then try rooting some cuttings after the first graft grows out.
