Hi Charlie,

Is this CV still around?  Perhaps on the winter graft list? :)

Shadowdance - wow, there's a name out of the past. This blue colored cv was around in 04 and 05 but was lost after that. I don't actually remember the bush but the parents Persephone and Trademark had pretty bad bushes, Trademark especially. Similar but imo better varieties are Deep Purple, Dark Angel, and Ephemeral. Dark Angel still remains one of the darkest if not the darkest of the dark blue flowers and I plan to graft some this winter. Flower-wise, Shadowdance would have had some good hybridizing possibilities but alas, it is no more.

Ah another old one lost, I was interested because of it's hybridizing potential.  Crossing these oldies with the new more vigorous CVs has alot of potential (I hope).

I really hope that Dark Angel works this year, I really enjoy the blooms on this on this one, and would love to get a hold of some "blue moon" genes :)
