Update on my first time seedlings

Glad to hear about the good germination, Kristen! The second envelope arrived last week and the seeds should be planted this weekend. Long wait for the magic to happen after that. Lots of work, too, to allow the magic a chance to show up. By magic I mean a striking new flower. Years ago I thought we surely could not see many more flowers that were different but they keep coming and probably always will. It's really fun to see what happen over time.

What would be cool is to have one that has stripes vertically instead of horizontally.  By that I mean instead of rings around the eye, stripes coming from the eye outward.  Wouldn't that be cool!
