Here is a problem that I have on just one cultivar, Stormy Heart.  These cream colored markings started appearing shortly after I received this plant at least a year and a half ago.  It doesn't cause the leaves to further deteriorate or drop and doesn't appear to affect the vigor of the plant. These leaves with the spots are from last summer's growth.  Is anyone else seeing anything like this?

Dave, you have the darnedest problems up there in the high desert of Arizona! At least the health, growth and blooming of the plant does not appear to be affected.

I have no real idea what it could be - theories include sun or wind damage, virus infection, fungus or bacterial infection, fertilizer burn, or just plain cantankerousness.

I'm guessing it's the last one you mentioned. I've had fertilizer burn on other plants and it isn't that and some of those spots are nearly a year old. Maybe it's a one and only variegated leaf hib? Roll Eyes
