Author Topic: Faux Me-Oh My-Oh ??  (Read 1837 times)

I have had this plant for 2 years and i really dont remember where I got it. Not from HVH. It was labeled as Me-Oh My-Oh

 but I am not sure anymore who it is.


I see that HV is now offering a Oh me and the photos is nowhere near mine. I have looked on the net for other pics and they all look like HV's plant.

Do I have the real mCcoy or someother, if so, any idea who is it?

the plant is full, upright with dark very heavy leaves.

Hmm,that could be a warmer weather Me-Oh-My-Oh flower. There is a lot of variability of color with that one. Probably have to wait to see a few more flowers at different times and compare it to other postings of it. The leaves are dark as you described. In my experience the bush is upright at first but as it gets larger needs some support of it tends to sprawl and some stems droop downward.

Sorry I can't be sure from the one photo.

hi charlie, thanks for looking.

here are two more photos of the plant, one taken last february and one last june. both display the same colors.the plant does exhibit tall branches. this plant is over 3 feet tall.

what ever it is, its a nice plant.

I'm going to call it Me-oh-my-oh Connecticut style. It looks close enough to some of my photos so say it is the right cv, although I can understand your doubts based on other photos from other places.

hi,

i have a madame, which has not bloomed for a long time. its flower is white with a large red eye.

i guess this mystery is Me-Oh.
