I just recieved 2 new cv's, Voodoo Magic & Delta Dawn.  They came wrapped in a moist paper towel and I immediately planted them in 6.5" pots (hope these pots weren't too big to start these in).  My question is how much sun should these small plants recieve? The temperature is still in the high 90's most of the day and they will get about 3-4 hours of sun on my patio.  Also, any other insights on keeping them healthy and growing would be great!

Charlie, the Creole Lady is doing great I have counted 27 new buds on it Shocked.  It should be blooming in the next week or two.  Thanks for the great plant!

Just my view  Jonathan but you seem to have the plants very deep in the pot, if there was to be a big rain then the whole plant could be submerged in water, with a plant that size about a half inch from the top is plenty.
As for your question, how much sun?. Well as they have just been transplanted I would keep them in the shade for at least 3-7 days, then I would slowly introduce them to the sun, I usually give them about 30 mins, by then the leaves will have gone all limp, then I will put them back in the shade to recover ready to go again, depending on how much free time I have I may do that 3 times in one day or I may do it once a day, some cv's will take to the sun straight away and I have had some take a month, patience is the key and you are the best judge of how long as you can see if it looks stressed.

Thanks David I will add more dirt to the pot and put them back in.  I noticed the leaves starting to wilt so I put them in the shade...Thanks for the affirmation.  Jonathan
