This is one CV that has such fun summerish colors as well as an absolutely gorgeous bush.  The foliage is ultra dark green and the leaves are large and pointy with many razor like edges.  It also is very lush as I can never see the branches with such a heavy leaf canopy.

One draw back that I and others have experienced is that the blooms don't usually open all the way.  At first I still very much enjoyed the happy yellow and pink combination but I then started to experiment with manually opening the blooms all the way.  Sometimes they did stay open and then it was a real stunner to behold.

With my plants all being outdoors 365 I have to say that out of 40+ plants this one was the easiest to maintain.  Never had any problems with it at all.  No dieback disease, no pest issues, no leaf loss during a very wet and cool winter.  In fact all of my plants except my monster Chariots of Fire lost most if not all of their leaves in their first yr of existence outdoors with the exception of Bon Temps.

I even moved the plant (dug it out of the ground in the dead of winter) and moved it.  It didn't even get droopy or anything.  Always had new growth and blooms the entire year.

Very happy with this CV and really enjoy the fact that I have to do nothing to it to make it flourish.

Here is a good example of how it opens up part way on it's own.  This is also a summer bloom where as the previous blooms were winter.

Not bad after a full winter of all the things a hibiscus hates.  Just a few yellow leaves on the bottom.
