Raging Bull

Hello everyone,
I bought this plant from HVH last fall as a 4 incher. Since i have been using the new fertilizer, it has doubled in size and has numerous buds. it should bloom for the first time in about a week.
It is supposed to be a large bloom, 8-10 inches, which i like.
does anyone have any experience with this plant?
thanks,
louis

Lou, see the current Mystery Game bloom for another look at Raging Bull in winter. What I am wondering about is whether your flowers that are about to open in your winter greenhouse will be more like Dave's mystery bloom or a typical summer bloom. Your greenhouse is exceptionally hot (wish I could afford that for 30,000 square feet!) so it might be more of a summer flower. Anyway, below is a typical summer look - bright red with some spots. In hotter places like Texas and Florida it might develop more spots.

Charlie are there any more Raging Bulls coming up this year? I regret not snagging it last time it was available.

I look forward to the day my RB has blooms that look like Louis' bloom.
I must say that the really dark one I had was very enjoyable as well and I look forward to more dark winter time blooms from Raging Bull during this stretch.
