Found this stuck to my Hot Pepper today while washing plants.  Very lightweight substance with a chalky texture.


PS... I really don't have purple skin.  lol stupid camera... yuck Tongue

My first impression especially from the first two pics is a praying mantis egg case.

If it is praying mantis eggs, that would be a good thing, Jordan. You might not want them in your house but they are one of the best all purpose insect pest eaters. Having a good population of them in your yard would be a help with any kind of insect pest.

Oh!  That's probably what it is then.  We have mantises all over.  In fact I saw one yesterday on Hot Pepper.  Perhaps looking for its eggs.  Fascinating creatures... the only insect that can turn its head too!
