Yes, they have all been in since mid September. I managed to get them all in front of the window in my office. Matt is going to make me a "behind the couch" like table for this room. Although it will not be behind the couch, it will allow for the smaller plants on the floor and the bigger ones on the table. That way everyone is happy especially me because I don't have to crawl around and move everything to water. Or like the other day when I saw a mite on my MisBehavin... Got it in time, but they are all so squished together.
You know the weather in New England. It has dropped down to the 40's at night for the past couple of weeks, but yesterday it was 85. We have those Indian Summers. Don't know why they call it that, but that is what we have at the end of September every year. It gets really cold in the beginning of Sept, then really hot again at the end of the month.
Anyhow, this is a photo of what I got so far. I will re-post when Matt finishes my table. I have no blooms except on CH & S of course, but a ton of buds on everyone!

Looks like they will be happy there all winter. I brought mine inside even though the weather is still OK for them to be outside. I figure that now that I am seeing new growth, I dont want to stress them out later when I bring them inside. That window looks pretty full now, lol

I have to admit I was skeptical when Cindy wanted to bring hibiscus into our house. I don't mean 1 or 2 but enough to fill the spaces near all our good windows - dozens of plants. But having lived with all that green (to say nothing of the flowers) for several years now I have grown to appreciate the beauty and ambience the hibiscus contribute to the house. Good vibes, as we used to say.
Yours looks great, Kristen, and I'm sure yours too, Chris, now that they are inside.

Chris, what great windows you have in this place! Should let your plants do some growing, particularly if you can keep it warm enough. How are the energy costs in Seattle? Lots of dams for electricity, aren't there?

I hope that the electricity isnt too bad, I will prob keep the apartment at around 65-70. I wasnt digging just the hibiscus in the pots so I tried a mix of different tropicals in front of each hibiscus plant. Once the hibiscus fill in I think it will look really cool, with lush foliage on the bottom and hibiscus blooms on top

Thanks, Matt is not too excited about the big Baja Breeze / Sunny Wind in the corner, but it is just until it stops blooming, then into the back cold room it goes. It make a great plant, and thank god I put them in the same pot. I can't imagine if they were separate. Fortunately the entire front of my house is lined with sliding glass doors facing south. Nice inside, looks weird outside. Unfortunately we only keep the house at 60º in the winter months. So who knows if I will get any blooms

Thanks, Matt made that one day. It was just a plane wall with no windows. Then we went to Ikea and got that twin mattress topper for $100. It is so great to lay in.
