Live Chat application?

I don't know if you know how to do this on the forum, but it would be pretty cool to have a live chat area, that you could discuss topics with people on the forum who are on it at the time.  I sometimes find that we play thread tag when people are on at the same time, lol

That is a great Idea , but someone would have to monitor it all the time ! too many people will try to get free advertising on it and start spamming it if no one is watching.
I am not sure if Charlie has had any trouble with bots or spammers on the forum?

I have a dog forum and we have been spammed a few times and we had some dude trying to advertise on our little shout box lol

You're oh so right, Kerry. When we first started the forum we got signups every day from spammers. Lots of them pushing Cialis for some reason. lol

Cindy tightened up the security and they can't use bots to sign up anymore but we still get some humans trying to do it. Although it would be fun, she doesn't think we can make it work, at least for now.

Nice idea, though.
