I was just wanting to know if Silver Memories grows on it's own root or if it has to be grafted.
Thanks, Patrick

This is a graft only variety. Too bad, it's still one of the prettiest of its type. Worth the trouble, if you are thinking of grafting it.

I've been growing my little grafted baby for 6 months now and it has been doing well. It just bloomed it's first three flowers and they were all 7- 8" which is great for a plant that is not even a foot tall. Really pretty blooms.
Anyone know about the bush that would be great since I have it planted in ground. Seems easy to grow so far...

Silver Memories can grow into a large, attractive bush. I went into the old photos to see if I could find a pic and came up with a couple that show its potential. The digital cameras were not so great back in 1999 but you can get the idea of how good the bush can be. These are from when I lived in Topanga Canyon (northwest part of Los Angeles 3 miles from the ocean) and grew a lot of hibiscus on the property.
