Hi Charlie,
Jean and I are thinking of moving there over the next couple of years and were wondering if you have any customers there, or have ever shipped plants there?
Thanks!

New Zealand has pretty strict import controls on hibiscus, so we have not been able to send any plants there so far. I believe you will find some Australian varieties in New Zealand due to proximity but I don't have any good recent info on the situation there. I have heard that the only hibiscus specialty nursery in Australia has recently closed its doors due to serious illness of the owner. However, the hibiscus enthusiast activity in Oz continues to keep interest alive there.

NZ has a rep as a very pretty, plant friendly kind of place. If you make the move we'd love to hear about what you find there.
